I was looking for the song Teenage Dirtbag in google.
(Yes I like that song.)
And
when I typed in teenage... well see for yourself.
Now I am pretty sure that the top one should NOT be TEENAGE PREGNANCY.
That is so wrong.
Recently, Lifetime aired a film called The Pregnancy Pact

Baaaasicly about a bunch of girls in a small town who get pregnant.
Sort of like Juno or The Secret Life of The American Teenager.
But here is the catch.
They do it on PURPOSE.
But it's just a movie right?
WRONG.
This movie is based on a TRUE STORY.

A story about girls no older than 16 wanted to get pregnant.
There were possibly up to 17 girls involved.
Why?

Boredom? Rebellion? Trying in some way to give a meaningless, self-involved life a meaning? An exercise of bonding, being part of a group? Trying to answer the incredible loneliness of (teenage) life? Or just doing something "Because we can"? The group mentality is a fearfully powerful thing! That's why you won't find me in any... Not when I was a teeny either. Ever. Always a loner. Not always happier for it, but don't dig the group thing...
